RSA - Social Media Brief

This is my response to the RSA Awards, Social Media brief for Royal Mail, where I had to design stamps that would encourage people to write and post more letters.

My response was to create a set of stamps that would be advertised on Facebook, aiming them at people whose main method of communication was through social networks, and encouraging them to join the 'Write On' campaign to send more letters.

Facebook users would then be directed to a website where they can decide on the topic of the letter that they intend to write, and then pick a stamp design that would be best suited to the content of the letter, and they can pick from either (in order of the stamps shown below) celebration, love, making plans, reaching out to someone, sharing secrets or saying thank you.

After selecting the stamp design they want, the user would then enter their address and be sent a piece of letter paper, a pen and an envelope with their stamp/s attached to give them extra motivation get writing!

The 'Write On' campaign would also be holding events and promoting itself on Facebook in the form of a page which people can 'like' and gain encouragement to start writing letters again!

Lucozade Power League Football Club voucher designs.

Another brief from Redpath, I was asked to design some discount vouchers for Power League which are a company who have football pitches around the UK and venues for 5 a side and 7 aside tournaments. These vouchers needed to create an incentive to the individual to become more involved with football and I decided to use bold statements over an image of people actively taking part in football matches to convey this.

Infographic for Redpath Design Consultancy

I'm on a placement at the moment with a great design consultancy in Edinburgh called Redpath (http://www.redpath.co.uk/) and they have a structure in place for their business development schemes and asked me to come up with a fun infographic to visually inform employees of the best way to gain new clients.

They actually asked me to fit Bungle from Rainbow in black and white images at the top of the page as they have this ongoing prank where they photoshop him into each others work to wind each other up! see if you can spot him.

I started doodling these letters made out of hair, so thought I could use them to make a logo for a made up hairdressers.
